Broiled Grapefruit Slices

I LOVE  grapefruit. The smell, the taste- I am joyfully obsessed with this luscious, juicy fruit. I recently came across the idea to broil a grapefruit, and I immediately had to try it. I'm not one to flinch from brown sugar and butter, but I am  trying to promote healthier eating in my life, so I thought why not try a little experimenting? beautifully broiled Broiled Grapefruit Slices Healthy Style 1-2 Grapefruits (I used 1-Ruby Red, and 1-Marsh Grapefruit) Vanilla Powder Chinese Five Spice 1 pkg Stevia Sweetner After I set my oven on Broil,  and moved my oven rack to the closest position to the broiler... I started by cutting the fruit in half, and placed them in my lovely Emile Henry 9x9 square baking dish. Sprinkled on Vanilla Powder, Chinese Five Spice and Stevia I popped them into the oven under the broiler for 6 minutes. BEAUTIFUL!!!! And taste delicious, BUT...... I wanted to taste the spices on AL...

Frozen Yogurt Bites

Want an easy, healthy snack that takes literally minutes to prepare that even the kiddo's will enjoy? Look no further! Frozen Yogurt Bites What you need: wax paper  cookie sheet  1 single serving-size pkg of your favorite yogurt (I used lite blackberry)  1 ziploc sandwich bag  lite blackberry yogurt Step 1: Cut and line your cookie sheet with wax paper (splash drops of water on pan if paper won't stay) Step 2: Empty the yogurt cup into the ziploc baggie and seal Step 3: Snip a hole in a bottom corner Step 4: Dot your cookie sheet with yogurt!  You don't have to be fancy,  or put them in a straight line- unless you want to.  They're not going to change in height or size,  and they won't run into each other either, so your choice! Step 5: Pop them in the freezer... and WAAAAAIIIIIIIITTTTT !!!!! I know. Waiting is a pain. But, all if good time, you will see- ...

Chocolate Sponge Bread

Just out of the oven! This is an amazing sweet bread. What's more amazing: it's sugar and fat free. It's completely delicious! Little surprise... it uses red beet puree! Don't snub your noses yet... wait till you see how beautiful the batter is! RECIPE: Chocolate Sponge Bread 3 eggs 1- 1/2 cups of Splenda (you can use 3/4 cups is you prefer a less sweet bread) 1 cup Unsweetened Applesauce 1- 1/2  cups of Red Beet Puree 2 Tbsp Hershey's Cocoa Powder 1- 1/3  cups of All Purpose Flour 1- 1/2  tsp of Baking Soda 1 tsp of Salt 1 Tbsp Vanilla Pre-heat Oven to 350 degrees, fahrenheit.  Beat eggs, splenda, applesauce, beets and cocoa till blended.  Add dry ingredients with vanilla and mix till smooth. Grease a 9x5 loaf pan, and bake for 1 hour. beautiful magenta-colored batter baked and chocolatey with a slight hue of pink It's really, VERY good, and I hope you'll try it out! paired with Creamy Marscapone Citru...
