Buttermilk Apple-Pie Zucchini Bread

I love apple pie- who doesn't? I also love zucchini bread, and I had an idea to throw these two together, and WOW!!! Such an incredible creation was formed into this yummy bread. Buttermilk Apple-Pie Zucchini Bread BREAD RECIPE 1/2 c butter shortening 1 c dark brown sugar 1/3 c buttermilk 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 2 lg eggs 1 Tbsp vanilla 1 Tbsp vanilla powder 2 c all-purpose flour 1 Tbsp cinnamon 1 Tbsp nutmeg 1 Tbsp allspice 1 winesap apple, shredded 1 granny smith apple, shredded 1 md zucchini, shredded CRUMBLE TOPPING RECIPE 1/2 c oats 1/2 c dark brown sugar 1/2 c all-purpose flour 5 Tbsp butter 1 Tbsp cinnamon 1 Tbsp nutmeg 1 Tbsp allspice Directions 1. Frozen Yogurt Bites

Want an easy, healthy snack that takes literally minutes to prepare that even the kiddo's will enjoy? Look no further! Frozen Yogurt Bites What you need: wax paper  cookie sheet  1 single serving-size pkg of your favorite yogurt (I used lite blackberry)  1 ziploc sandwich bag  lite blackberry yogurt Step 1: Cut and line your cookie sheet with wax paper (splash drops of water on pan if paper won't stay) Step 2: Empty the yogurt cup into the ziploc baggie and seal Step 3: Snip a hole in a bottom corner Step 4: Dot your cookie sheet with yogurt!  You don't have to be fancy,  or put them in a straight line- unless you want to.  They're not going to change in height or size,  and they won't run into each other either, so your choice! Chocolate Sponge Bread

Just out of the oven! This is an amazing sweet bread. What's more amazing: it's sugar and fat free. It's completely delicious! Little surprise... it uses red beet puree! Don't snub your noses yet... wait till you see how beautiful the batter is! RECIPE: Chocolate Sponge Bread 3 eggs 1- 1/2 cups of Splenda (you can use 3/4 cups is you prefer a less sweet bread) 1 cup Unsweetened Applesauce 1- 1/2  cups of Red Beet Puree 2 Tbsp Hershey's Cocoa Powder 1- 1/3  cups of All Purpose Flour 1- 1/2  tsp of Baking Soda 1 tsp of Salt 1 Tbsp Vanilla Pre-heat Oven to 350 degrees, fahrenheit.  Beat eggs, splenda, applesauce, beets and cocoa till blended.  Add dry ingredients with vanilla and mix till smooth. Mulling Spices

Usually, mulling spices are used to spice up a yummy hot drink such as wine or Apple Cider, but I also use mulling spices in my cooking and baking. Mulling Spices   Ingredients: 15 double-layer cheesecloth 5-inch squares 14 (10-inch) lengths of white string 3 oz whole cinnamon sticks 6 whole nutmegs (1 ounce) 1/3 c chopped dried orange peel 1/3 c chopped dried lemon peel 1/4 c allspice berries 1/4 c whole cloves 2 Tbsp finely chopped, crystallized ginger (1 ounce) Directions: 1. Place cinnamon sticks and nutmegs into a heavy freezer bag. Hit the spices with the bottom of a small heavy skillet to break them into small pieces. Place in a bowl and stir in orange peel, lemon peels, allspice, cloves, and ginger. 2. Place about 2 tablespoons of the spice mixture in the center of each cheesecloth square. Christmas Chip Cookie

I like to bake cookies, and I'm always trying to design something new and yummy. My 2011 Christmas Cookie creation is not only festive looking in color, but tastes spectacular! I hope you try it out and enjoy it as much as we do! Christmas Chip Cookies Ingredients: 1 1/8 c all purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 c butter flavor shortening 3/4 c dark brown sugar 1 Tbsp vanilla extract 1 Tbsp vanilla powder 1 Tbsp allspice, ground 1 lg egg 1/2 c vanilla or white chocolate chips 1 c dried cranberries; original 1 c coarsely chopped pistachios Directions: 1. Butterscotch Pumpkin Pudding Cheesecake

I LOVE pumpkin, and nearly always have canned pumpkin in my pantry. I love easy, instant, yumminess, and this pie fits the bill perfectly!!! Butterscotch Pumpkin Pudding Cheesecake Ingredients: 1 9-inch graham cracker crust 8 oz softened cream cheese 2 bx (large) butterscotch instant pudding 15 oz (1 can) pumpkin 8 oz whipped cream topping, chilled, not frozen 1 Tbsp freshly grated nutmeg 1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice 1 Tbsp cinnamon 1 c coarsely chopped pecans (optional) Directions: 1. Whip softened cream cheese and pumpkin till smooth. 2. Add pudding and spices. Blend until creamy. 3. Fold in whipped cream topping and mix till blended. 4. Pour into crust and top with pecans. 5. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving. SO yummy!

Buttermilk Banana-Zucchini Bread

This scrumptious bread is best warm and slathered with butter and eaten with a fork! If you like strong spices in your banana bread, add at least 3x more than the recipe calls for. Also, try pan-frying in butter, then sprinkling with powdered sugar for a yummy dessert! Caramel Apple Goodness

OK, so, I made the Caramel Apple Cupcakes today and while they were REALLY good, I felt there could be some major changes to absolutely perfect this one. So, I know I'm running a Fall Cupcake Poll, but I couldn't wait, so I rummaged through my kitchen to see what I had on hand and created a great Cupcake to bid our Summer farewell.
